Carter Bratton

The first job Carter had was planting ground cover flats at a garden center for $1.00/flat. A few years later he wanted to get back outside, so he took a job with a landscape design/build firm. He fell in love. He enrolled at Columbus State Community College’s acclaimed Landscape Design/Build program and received his Associates with honors. He worked for many years after graduating before pursuing a different career path but the love of landscaping never left him. During the pandemic, he saw how vital an outdoor sanctuary was to people’s well being. That realization coupled with a heart for service led to a company with a relationship at its core—Sanctuary & Steward Landscape LLC.
